Carlsbad Medical Center Presents “Girls’ Night Out”

Carlsbad Medical Center is pleased to announce the return of its Healthy Woman program and celebration event, after a three year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Healthy Woman is a resource provided by Carlsbad Medical Center designed to provide women with the knowledge they need to live healthier lives and make informed healthcare decisions for themselves and their loved ones.

This year’s celebration event, “Girls’ Night Out,” will be held on Thursday, October 12th at 6:30 p.m. at the Pecos River Village Conference Center, and features a catered dinner, silent auction, door prizes and Hall of Fame Keynote Speaker Linda Larsen, who will present “Staying Right Side Up When Everything is Upside Down,” a humorous and entertaining presentation about how to stay focused and productive in the face of chaos and uncertainty. Larsen has been a featured presenter for more than 1,000 conferences and meetings worldwide for groups such as Jaguar Cars, the Kuwait Women’s Leadership Summit and McDonalds. Larsen is also the author of the best-selling audio program, 12 Steps to High Self-Esteem, and is a popular guest co-host on the ABC-7 Florida television show, The Suncoast View.

Tickets are $50 each, and all proceeds from the Girls’ Night Out event will benefit Brittany’s Hope, a charitable fund through Carlsbad’s Faith, Hope and Love Foundation, used to assist cancer patients in Eddy County with expenses related to their care.
