Patients & Visitors
Current Visitor Guidelines
Your safety and that of the providers is critical to ensure you receive quality medical care. This hospital, the physicians and the employees continue to actively respond and provide care related to COVID-19.
Carlsbad Medical Center is currently allowing visitation for patients not in isolation. Children over 12 may visit non-critical patients.
Intensive care unit patients are allowed two (2) visitors at a time. Exceptions based upon end of life, or special circumstances, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by the clinical leadership team.
Official visitation hours are from 6 a.m. – 8 p.m. seven (7) days a week.
The cafeteria is open for employees and visitors.
At Carlsbad Medical Center, we understand that coming to the hospital as a patient or as a loved one's support person can be a difficult, often overwhelming experience. Whether you’re preparing for a hospital stay or stopping by to see friends and family, knowing where to go and what to bring will help make your visit less stressful.
