CMC Welcomes New Women’s Health Physicians

Carlsbad Medical Center and Pecos Valley Physician Group are pleased to welcome three board-certified OB/GYNs to their family of healthcare providers and to the community.

Robert Anthony, M.D., earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, TX. He completed his OB/GYN internship and residency at University of Utah Affiliated Hospitals in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Anthony has 40 years of experience and is certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Mahnee Dinsmore, M.D., earned her medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. She then completed her OB/GYN internship and residency at Wellspan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. Dr. Dinsmore is certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Brooke Huffsmith, M.D., earned her undergraduate degree in neuroscience at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. She received her medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston Health Science Center and completed her OB/GYN residency at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Dr. Huffsmith is certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG).

They bring extensive knowledge, experience and qualifications to meet women’s health needs in Carlsbad, and we welcome them to the community.”

Drs. Anthony, Dinsmore and Huffsmith are all members of the medical staff at Carlsbad Medical Center and are accepting new patients at Women's Health Services, along with Certified Family Nurse Practitioners Lana Greer and Nancy Rios. Services include well-woman exams, birth control consults, prenatal care, hormone replacement therapy, menopausal counseling, hysterectomies and other gynecologic surgeries.
