Pecos Valley Physician Group Welcomes Nurse Practitioners

Pecos Valley Physician Group is pleased to announce the addition of two nurse practitioners to our team of healthcare providers. Sarah Duval, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, has joined Dr. Murugan Athigaman at Sandya Surgical & Vein Center, located at 2402 W. Pierce, Suite 5C. Duval earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing at New Mexico State University and completed her Master of Science in nursing with an FNP specialty track at Chamberlain University. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. With several years of experience in a variety of healthcare settings, Duval says, “I’m eager to further my knowledge and look forward to providing optimal patient care in my new role as a nurse practitioner.”

Longtime Carlsbad Medical Center employee Lana Greer, FNP-BC, has joined the team at Women’s Health Services. With 21 years of nursing experience, 19 of which were spent as an OB nurse, Greer says, “I have a passion for women’s health and education related to pregnancy, newborns and health screenings.” She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing and Master of Science with FNP certification through Walden University. Greer is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, and is accepting new patients at Women's Health Services, located at 2420 W. Pierce, Suite 200.
